Elliott’s Hygiene is run by five members of the Elliott’s family, who have been in the industry for over 35 years, amassing almost 80 years of experience between us. We and the rest of our team are passionate about two things: hygiene and giving our valued customers the very best service we can. We believe in getting to know each of our customers personally – you are never just an account number to us – and we work as an extension of your team; going out of our way to meet your needs and protect your business, people and customers.

Mark Elliott, Managing Director

Mark has a BSc in Biological Sciences, making us ideally placed to advise organisations we work with on the effective management of hygiene-related issues. Mark can help you ensure compliance with ever-more-stringent guidelines relating to food hygiene standards and COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health) compliance, as well as liaising proactively with official bodies including environmental health officers to achieve the best possible outcomes for you.

Mark is at the core of our business, making the right buying and operational decisions and ensuring our supply chain is seamless and proactive for all our customers.

Janette Elliott, Finance and Marketing Director

Having created the company with husband Mark, Janette lives and breathes Elliott’s as the public face of the business. She takes care of our customer relationship and communications activity, as well as keeping our finances in order.

She said: “We are known for being personable, honest and reliable and taking care of your business as though it was our own, as an extension of your in-house management team. We don’t just provide you with products, we work supportively with you and your team, building a robust hygiene strategy. We’re on the journey with you every step of the way and our ongoing guidance and support doesn’t cost you a penny!”

Janette said: “At Elliott’s, we have lived and breathed hygiene for decades. We’ve built strong, long-term relationships with many organisations since we launched, becoming almost an extension of their management team, and we look forward to working with more local businesses as they deal with the Covid19 fallout and put new ways of working in place.”

Chris Elliott, Sales & Marketing Executive

Chris has a BA Hons degree in Sociology and graduated four years ago, successfully joining the business in a significant sales and customer support role.  Chris delivers a beneficial young person’s perspective to our proactive team.  Chris and Janette work closely together or entirely separately, depending upon the business sector and need, flexibility for each customer is our priority. He is highly motivated and builds a great rapport with each customer.  Hygiene within education, industry and manufacturing is an area in which he particularly excels.

Charlotte Elliott, Product Design and all things Creative

Charlotte has been part of our Management team since attaining her BA Hons degree in Product Design, some 10 years ago.  Charlotte loves all things of a creative nature and loves to innovate for our customers, with particular interest in foodservice, table and glassware as well as food packaging and branding.  Over the last four years, Charlotte and her partner Ian have developed two of their very own hygiene specialists ‘of the future’, with two lovely young sons, now being the third generation for Elliott Hygiene Ltd.

Ian Berry, Operations and IT Manager

Ian joined Elliott’s five years ago, after a background in retail management.  Ian has a natural flair and diligence, in managing our operational and IT systems, taking over from Janette, on all things IT.  He works closely with Mark and has further developed our stock management systems, plus continuing development in our ISO9001 processes and policies.  Ian is currently working with Janette in finalising all product data for our soon to be launched E-Commerce site, which is long overdue but highly anticipated by our wide range of customers.
