This is the second of our two-part blog series to help hospitality venues demystify the process of preparing for Christmas, and provide you with a starting point.
So far, in Part 1, we’ve looked at why the perfect Christmas setting is so important for your customers, so much so that recent market research found that when a hotel or restaurant spends more money on Christmas decorations, 59 per cent of their customers are more likely to spend not only more time, but also more money at that establishment.
During the holidays, businesses make anywhere from 20 to 40 per cent of their entire yearly income. A successful holiday season lays the groundwork for the rest of the year and a bad season can set a very dark tone. So, it’s important to get it right.
It is critical to begin planning early in order to be prepared for this wonderful time of year. That’s why we would recommend getting your Christmas orders in before the early November, so that the stock you choose is guaranteed to be available, and you can avoid any headaches caused by lack of the goods you need.
It is also a good idea to decide on a theme for your venue, as explained in Part 1 of this blog.
We really do have options for all markets, for whatever your budget, and however eye-catching you want your venue to be.
Christmas dinner is always one of the greatest highlights of the festive season and we have the perfect reusable Christmas tableware and accessories here at Elliott’s to complement your festive feast, and transform your venue into a magical space that is full of Christmas cheer!
We would like to introduce you to our beautiful reusable range of Christmas tableware that can be displayed year after year:
We have a stunning range of glassware for you to choose from at Elliott’s. Among our favourites is the Genware fully– tempered Sheer Rim Corvus range – these glasses are perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your festive celebrations.
It could be argued that on a Christmas table setting, the crockery is the main event. Churchill, Utopia, and DPS Tableware are among a few of our suppliers that provide us with undeniably gorgeous crockery, with choices suited to any occasion.
Many Christmas menus consist of several courses, and so it’s important to be ready with the right cutlery to complement the wonderful Christmas dinner that you are providing. Some of our customers choose to display gold cutlery at this time of year, to mark the special occasion. This option is also perfect for New Year, another key time for the HORECA industry!
4. Linen tablecloths
At Elliott’s we offer an extensive range of both contemporary and traditional tablecloth designs which will give your dining table the wow factor. The tablecloth is the perfect opportunity to coordinate with the colour theme of your décor and other table accessories.
5. Candle holders
It simply wouldn’t be Christmas without the gentle candlelight that creates a warm, festive ambiance. And why roll out the same candle holders that you use all year round? Our amazing DUNI Candle Holders are perfect for providing that extra magical touch.
This is a detail that many of our customers forget to add, but can really payoff if you remember. To avoid a fire hazard, LED candles can also be used for soft mood lighting.
