As Christmas approaches, almost everyone is heralding not just the festivities but a chance to say goodbye, at last, to a year that has brought challenges to so many.

We’re conscious that many of our clients have been among those hardest hit – from the care homes that struggled to source the personal protective equipment they needed to keep their residents safe, to hospitality outlets that have been forced to think on their feet, completely re-invent the service they offer and, sadly, in some cases close for months on end.

And it’s been tough for us here at Elliott’s, too, from battling with supply chains to source the necessary goods to guiding hotel and catering businesses on how to keep some degree of service going despite everything.

So, it’s taken a super-human effort on everyone’s part, really, but it’s also served as a valuable reminder of the special bond we have with our customers, who’ve worked tirelessly with us to achieve the best possible outcome for people they serve.

So, against this backdrop, we’d like to wish you a very Happy Christmas and a safe, happy, healthy and prosperous 2021, which we hope will bring with it a whole different experience to 2020.

We will be closing at 3pm on Wednesday, 23 December, and will then reopen at 7.30am on Monday 4 January. Any customers with deliveries scheduled between now and Wednesday who need to order last-minute items should call us on 01482 327580 as soon as possible. If you have no more deliveries scheduled until the New Year, you can arrange to collect your items before close of business on Wednesday.
