We are proud to announce that we are now an official Sustainable Palm Oil Champion for Yorkshire and the Humber.
Having worked closely with The Deep and Chester Zoo to complete this initiative we have made our pledge working with our key supply and manufacturing networks and are proud to release the following statement.
“ Elliott’s are a Hull based family run business supplying the Yorkshire area with cleaning, hygiene and janitorial supplies as well as catering disposables and tableware. As a family run business with a local workforce we are committed to partnering with the Sustainable Palm Oil Community Project in Yorkshire and the Humber and would like to pledge our support to the Deep with this initiative.
By the end of 2024 we will have completed our pledge working with our key manufacturing and supply chain networks as well as the national buying network we belong to.
This will ensure that all of the palm oil used in the products we supply is 100% traceable and certified sustainable. To help us maintain this goal we will conduct regular audits across our vast product range, ensuring that we continue with the highest standards of sustainability.
As a local business we are committed and proud to be part of this project and are looking forward to helping promote and create a more sustainable future through this community initiative project. This in turn will protect our planet, ecosystems and global biodiversity from the impact of unsustainable agricultural practices for the benefit of future generations.”
